Straightening Up the Trident T150

We’ve started rebuilding a 1974 Triumph Trident T150V. It came to us in boxes so we started by re-assembling some of the basics to make sure we get everything straight before we start painting frames and brackets and things.

Here we make sure the foot-pegs are in line and square with the frame.  Nothing looks worse than a restoration with crooked parts!

We had to give a bit of attention to the Side Stand as well. People think they are strong enough to support them while they chat with their friends in the car park, but they really were just meant to support the bike and not much more!

More next time.
